All corporations subject to Ontario minimum tax must submit their tax returns by diskette/CD ("d-file").

Be sure to enter the transmitter number you received from the Ontario Ministry of Finance. The company address must be entered as well. DT Max will read this information from your identification data, per your Preferences menu.

You will be required to select which type of returns you wish to d-file by default. The options are:

  • All eligible returns subject to CMT
  • Eligible returns subject to CMT or with refund
  • All eligible returns

Please note that when CD filing you be prompted to specify the directory in which to save the files. It is recommended that they be stored in an empty directory. Once the applicable files have been saved the client will then have to burn them to CD using their preferred CD burning software.

Note: For taxation years ending in 2009 and onward the Ontario Ministry of Finance will no longer be supporting diskette/CD filing of the CT23 corporate return.
